Are The Latest Anti Wrinkle Skin Care Products Everything They Claim To Be?
To stop aging, or at least minimize its effects, has been a desire of many women of the world today. Decades ago, aging was a normal process and people had resigned themselves to the fact that aging and, more particularly, having wrinkles was inevitable. Now, however, there are tons of anti wrinkle skin care products being offered – all of which cater to every woman’s desire to have beautiful, youthful skin.
Recently, new types of anti wrinkle skin care products have come out into the market. These products are no longer limited to the facial creams and masks that one can find in beauty stores. One example of these anti wrinkle skin care products is the handheld LED device. These handheld devices are similar to the LED devices you might find at your local spa or dermatology clinic.
These scaled-down models work the same way as their large-scale counterparts, directing infrared or LED light onto the skin, which supposedly smoothens out wrinkles and other fine facial lines. These LED devices also aim to improve your skin’s texture and tone.
These types of anti wrinkle skin care products are, obviously, more expensive than your regular anti-aging creams and serums, with prices ranging from about $200 to $400. Putting these products to the test, results show that there was minimal to no change on the skin with some devices available on the market. Some products though, such as the Evis M.D. Facial Light (which costs $295) and the Tanda Regenerate Anti-Aging Starting Kit (which costs $275) did present some skin improvement.
Aside from being expensive and showing little improvement, most women find these anti wrinkle skin care products difficult and uncomfortable to use. The bright lights emitted by the device usually bother the user’s eyes. Plus, these skin care products are time consuming, and compared to the time and money you invest, better results might even be seen with the anti-wrinkle treatment creams you’ve been so used to for years now.
For most doctors, when it comes to looking for the best anti wrinkle skin care products, nothing beats eating the right food – food that is rich in antioxidants, that is. Some of these are fruits like pomegranate, oranges, and grapes; vegetables like soy and other leafy greens; wild salmon and other omega-3 cold water fish (trout and sardines etc); and natural drinks such as green tea.
Remember, when looking for anti wrinkle skin care products, go on a hunt for the one with the most value for your money. Make sure to test everything and weigh in all your options, as the last thing you want is to regret your buying decision.
